Radio Station Meet & Greet Sweepstakes Campaign

Objective:

To grow their station Mobile Club, which they use to set appointment listening by announcing contesting opportunities on a weekly basis.

Campaign:

  • K-98.3 offered an opportunity for listeners to meet Theresa Caputo, star of the reality show “The Long Island Medium,” a local celebrity. She would be appearing live in studio with the morning show, with a select few listeners joining them live.

  • Listeners would meet her, get a chance to visit and receive an autographed copy of her new book.

  • The bounceback message prompted listeners to reply “JOIN” to join the K98.3 Mobile Club.

  • Campaign ran for two weeks, including live and pre-recorded on-air promos, social media posts and email database marketing.

Call to Action:

On-Air: “Text MEDIUM to 51879 for your chance to meet Long Island Medium reality show star Theresa Caputo in studio with Steve & Leeana!”

Results:

  • 2,705 unique entrants

  • 794 new members to the K98.3 Mobile Club

  • Grew Mobile Club by 34%
