The "30-60-90" Day Plan

So you've launched your new SMS subscription/text club campaign, now what? 

The First 30 Days:

  • Develop your promotional campaign (Live/pre-recorded announcements, website banners, Facebook, Twitter, email, etc.)
  • Execute at least 2 Text-to-Win/Sweepstakes campaigns (Gift certificates, tickets, cash, etc.)
  • Send 2 text message blasts per month to core database (Set appointment listening, give value proposition, promote concerts & contests, breaking news, etc.)
  • Post text club sign-up form on website
  • Establish needs-based strategy and databases

The Next 60 Days:

  • Continue text club promo campaign (Live/pre-recorded announcements, website banners, Facebook, Twitter, email, etc.)
  • Execute 3 more Text-to-Win/Sweepstakes campaigns (Gift certificates, tickets, cash, etc.)
  • Evaluate need for 1 text message blast per week
  • Rollout needs-based strategy on-air, on-web, Facebook, Twitter, email, etc.
  • Integrate 360 Digital assets (Apps, links, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

The Next 90 Days:

  • Database growth to 25% of station cume
  • Execute at least 3 Test-to-Win/Sweepstakes campaigns per month
  • Establish text message blast strategy
  • Reflect on needs-based strategy
  • Promote integrated 360 digital assets
